Your dog's preventative doesn't stop the tick from biting you.
Chews and topicals work from the inside — the ones that never bite your dog? They take a ride inside and find you. TiCK MiTT catches loose ticks before any of that happens.
Chemical-free — no sprays, no pesticides, no harsh ingredients
Engineered and patented fabric grabs crawling ticks like Velcro
Reusable all season and machine washable

Three moves. Thirty seconds.
Wipe
Over their back, legs, belly and ears — then your own pant legs and sleeves. Firm, quick passes.
Look
The engineered fabric holds ticks on the surface like Velcro. You can see exactly what came home with you.
Toss
Into the included mesh bag, 10 minutes on high heat. That kills the ticks and resets the mitt for tomorrow.
Reminder: TiCK MiTT does not remove embedded ticks. It catches the loose ones before they attach. For a tick that's already latched on, use Tick SiDEKiCK, our 3-in-1 removal tool with a built-in light.
Thirty seconds, after every walk
The gap in your routine
Flea and tick preventatives only cover half the problem.
A preventative protects your dog. It does nothing for the tick crawling on their ear on the walk home, the one that drops onto the rug, or the nymph the size of a poppy seed now on your ankle. The Northeast accounts for roughly 70% of all reported Lyme cases in the country — and about half of adult deer ticks here carry the bacteria.
24–48h
Typical window a tick needs to be attached before it transmits Lyme. Preventatives act inside that window — not before it.
1 in 4
Nymph-stage deer ticks in the Northeast carrying Lyme bacteria. They're poppy-seed small and the ones people miss.
30 sec
How long a wipe-down takes at the back door. That's the entire ask. No spray, no wrestling, no appointment.

Quick check
Is your dog actually protected?
Tick the ones that sound like your house.
My dogs are on a monthly flea and tick preventative
I skip the head-to-tail tick check most days
They mostly go in the yard and around the neighborhood, not deep woods
We live in CT, MA, NY, NJ, PA, RI, VT, NH or ME
They get on the couch or the bed
Nobody in the house has ever found a tick on themselves
You're covered on paper. Not at the door.
Your preventative handles what bites your dog. Nothing in your routine handles what crawls on their fur, or what comes inside with them. That's the thirty seconds this fixes.
The part people miss
A tick doesn't have to bite your dog to end up on you.
Your dog is the ride. Here's the trip.
1. The pickup
Leaf litter at the lawn's edge. Stone walls. The mulch bed by the driveway. No woods required.
2. The ride in
Ticks crawl to the coat's surface, not the skin. They come inside, then let go — on the rug, the couch, the bed.
3. The new host
They find the next warm thing. Your ankle, your kid's hairline. No preventative covers that part.

Pulled four off the mitt after one walk. Both dogs are on Simparica. That was the moment I understood the difference.

Why we made it
A father and daughter, whose personal story is now saving thousands of families
We weren't careless. We had the preventatives, we knew about ticks, and it still happened. So we built the thing we wished we'd had: a simple wipe you do at the door, before anything gets a chance to bite. No chemicals, no hassle — just one habit that takes the dread out of tick season.

FAQ
My dog's already on a preventative. Why would I need this?
Preventatives work after a tick attaches and starts feeding — they kill it, but the bite has already happened. They also do nothing about ticks that hitch a ride on her coat and drop off inside your house. TiCK MiTT removes loose ticks before either of those things can happen. Use both.
We don't hike. Is our yard really a risk?
Most exposure in the Northeast is residential — leaf litter at the lawn's edge, stone walls, mulch beds, the shady strip along the fence. Blacklegged ticks live there, not just on trails.
Does it remove ticks that are already attached?
No. TiCK MiTT catches loose, crawling ticks before they bite. For an embedded tick, use Tick SiDEKiCK, our 3-in-1 removal tool with a built-in flashlight.
How do I clean it?
Put it in the included mesh bag and run it in the dryer for 10 minutes on high heat — that kills any ticks in the fabric. Machine wash when it needs it. One mitt lasts the season.
Will it work on a thick or long coat?
Yes. Use firmer, slower passes and go against the direction of the fur so the fabric reaches down into the coat. Double-coated breeds are exactly why the fabric grips the way it does.
Is it safe around kids and cats?
There are no chemicals, pesticides or repellents involved — it's engineered fabric. Use it on your own arms and pant legs too, and on cats who tolerate handling.
Tick season is already here. Don't get caught without protection!
