Nothing else works! We live in the country - the dogs pick up 5-10 ticks each per walk, just walking along the edge of the road! My dogs are black, and despite meds, flea collars, sprays - they still get ticks. These work wonderfully well!

We avoid giving our pup toxic pills or injections that keep ticks away, instead we employ a few natural remedies that involve essential oils. The tick mitts are perfect for taking off the little buggars before the embed. We have a mini Bernedoodle and keep his coat short in the warm months so the ticks are easier to find. A few still embed themselves but it’s much better than it was last year at this time. We’ve pulled as many as 8 off him at once with the tick mitt. Since his fur is black, it can be a real challenge to see them so this is so helpful.

I purchased two mitts. They are well made and have picked up even very small ticks. The included wash/dryer bag is also sturdy and well made.
